This policy explains what missouricounselor.com collects and how it's used.

What this site collects

If you use the Suggest a Resource or Report a Problem forms, we collect what you enter: details about the organization you're suggesting or reporting on, and — only if you choose to provide it — your own name or email, in case we have a follow-up question. That information is sent to us via Web3Forms, a third-party form service, for the purpose of reviewing and verifying the submission. It is not sold or used for marketing. Web3Forms stores submissions for 30 days and then deletes them automatically.

If you use the search bar, your search terms are used only to return results on that page. This site does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. If that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Third-party services

Web3Forms processes form submissions. See Web3Forms' privacy policy.
Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers to display this site's typeface, which means your browser sends a request to Google when this site loads.
Listings on this site link out to third-party organizations' own websites. Once you leave missouricounselor.com, that organization's own privacy practices apply, not this one.

Please don't include sensitive personal information

The forms on this site are for suggesting or correcting directory listings, not for describing your own situation. Please don't include personal health, legal, or financial details about yourself in any form on this site.

Children's privacy

This directory is a public resource and isn't restricted to adults — someone of any age may be looking for help. We don't knowingly collect more information from a child than is necessary to review a form submission, and we don't ask for information beyond what's described above from anyone, regardless of age.

Your rights

You can ask what information we have connected to you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it, by reaching out through the contact page.

If this policy changes, the update date at the top of this page will change too.
